New surprise of Aamir Khan in 'Dangal' which is Biopic of Mahavir Phogat
Mahavir Phogat had trained three Commonwealth Games gold medalists and Aamir's look from the film was revealed today. As Aamir will be seen playing the father of two grown-up daughters, the perfectionist will be seen with close cropped salt-and-pepper hair and a graying beard.
Sources claim that Phogat's daughters Geeta and Babita, who are wrestlers themselves, had once appeared on his chat show Satyamev Jayate and when Aamir got to know about the struggles undergone by their father Mahavir, it got him interested in a film based on his life.
The source added that for the film, Aamir will be undergoing a lot of training to play a wrestler who trains his daughters to take up the sport. Mahavir Singh Phogat, was in the news sometime back for being ignored for the Dronacharya Award for the third consecutive year.
Khan's greatest commercial successes came with the thriller Ghajini, the comedy-drama 3 Idiots, the adventure film Dhoom 3 and the satire PK, all of which held records for being the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time.
In addition to acting, Khan is a humanitarian and has participated in and spoken out for various social causes, some of which have sparked political controversy. He has created, and featured as the host of the television talk show Satyamev Jayate through which he highlights sensitive social issues in India.
Aamir Khan’s look is already revealed and it’s nothing you’ve seen before. The actor, who plays a wrestler in the film, is seen sporting a close shaved head and a graying beard. However, Aamir Khan has been working out on his physique for ‘Dangal’ and looks buff in the picture.
