Jahan-e-Khusrau will treat to Jaipur on Oct.5 and 6

JAIPUR : Jaipur’s music lovers will have a unique musical treat to relish, as Sufi singers from various parts of the globe are all set to perform in the annual world Sufi music festival Jahan-e-Khusrau that will be held in the Pink City on 5 and 6th of october.

The musical festival, which was launched in Delhi in 2001, will now take place at the Central Park, on October 5 and 6, and will reflect, stimulate and engage dialogue regarding the relevance of Sufi music.

The Show Designed and directed by filmmaker and painter Muzaffar Ali, the fest Jahan-e-Khusrau will be organized in collaboration with the ministry of tourism, art and culture, government of Rajasthan, and will be presented by Rumi Foundation.

The artiste line-up for this year include Deveshi Sehgall, Malini Awasthi, Sonam Kalra, Aastha Dixit and across the border Sufi singer Abida Parveen from Pakistan and Lofti Buchan from Tunesia will perform.
