Cairn India signs MoUs with IIIT Kota and MNIT Jaipur
Jaipur : Cairn India has entered into an agreement with premier technical education institute of the region. Two MoUs were signed today at Jaipur with the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kota and the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
The MOUs were signed in the presence of Manoj Aggarwal, Head-CSR and Stakeholder Management, Cairn India and Prof. I K Bhatt of representing IIIT, Kota and MNIT. As per the MoUs, the Cairn Centre of Excellence (CcoE) will partner with these premier institutes to promote knowledge sharing and develop areas of common interest.
The MOU provides for aspects such as Faculty and student exchange and guest lectures at CCOE, curriculum review, practical exposure being provided to the engineering students of IIIT and MNIT to vocational skills and top-class equipment, conferences and seminars being conducted at CCOE etc.
To provide a best-in-class training center positioned well above the rest in terms of vocational education with strong linkage to placements, Cairn India has established this state-of-the-art centre at Jodhpur.
CCoE has emerged as the prime centre where youth of Thar Desert are getting benefitted with training and study material of global standard. An MoU with RSLDC had been signed in the presence of the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhra Raje, RSLDC MD Gaurav Goyal and Cairn CEO, Mayank Ashar in 2015.
The center has been built to European standards with equipment sourced from across the world including Germany, Finland etc. and also has a residential facility.
The German training and certification firm, TUV Rheinland, delivers vocational courses in Welding, Automobile engine repair & maintenance, renewable energy (solar, wind) and retail at the campus along with courses for working professionals such as Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard, Lead Auditor etc. Partnerships have been established with RSLDC, MNRE, Tribal Development Society and other entities to maximize the reach of CCOE.
