11th stranded student allegedly shoots classmate in UP

Muzaffarnagar : A student of class eleven allegedly shot a a classmate, who reads with him at a tuition class at Purkazi town of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh yesterday, police said today.

According the information, 17-year-old Akshay Sharma, who was shot by accused Anant Tyagi, has been shifted to a nearby hospital, police said.

Tyagi was taken into custody and the pistol was recovered from his possession, they said.

Police filled a case against him and yet to determine the reason behind the attack.
