Priyanka Chopra nominated for 'People's Choice Award' for 'Quantico'

Los Angeles : The 'Mary Kom' of Bollywood, actress Priyanka Chopra, who made her international TV debut with American show 'Quantico' in which she play the role of Alex Parrish, who is suspected of committing a terrorist attack. The actress has been nominated by the People's Choice Awards for the category of 'Favourite Actress' in the show.

The 33-year-old actress is very excited by the news and said in a post on micro-blogging site Twitter, in which she feels honoured for bagging a nomination in the first year itself. She wrote in the tweet, "Wow this is such an honour! First year and a nomination! Thank u @peopleschoice what's say people?"
People’s Choice Awards is the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favourites in films, music and television.

The People’s Choice official website houses the voting platform where fans determine the categories, nominees and winners for the annual awards show.

Voting has opened on peopleschoice.com as well as on Facebook and twitter until October 22. The winners will be announced on January 6.

'Quantico' also features actors Jake McLaughlin, Tate Ellington and Graham Rogers, who all play FBI recruits. It will narrate their adventures and experiences as they train at Quantico base in Virginia, and secrets of their past start to emerge.
