John Abraham will seen playing himself in MS Dhoni - The Untold Story
Initially B-town handsome hunk John Abraham denied that he would not be acting in the film. But now the news has come out that John would be doing a cameo in the upcoming biographical film, reports Mumbai Mirror. While the lead roles are played by Sushant Singh Rajput and Kiara Advani.
Sushant would be playing the title role. The actor is prepping up to play the role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Kiara would be playing the role Sakshi, the cricketer’s wife.
Notable, John is a very dear friend of the Indian cricketer. The actor, who is currently in Budapest filming the Force sequel, said that, “I am glad a film is being made on Mahi’s life. I respect the vision of the director and I’m sure Sushant (Singh Rajput) will be fantastic.”
Speaking about the cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, John Abraham said, "Mahi is strong and resilient. When a film of mine gets a poor opening, he smiles and tells me that I've had a bad year but the next one will be better. He knows how to receive the brickbats with the bouquets. He's one of the most balanced guys I know."
Notable, In January, following his exit from Test cricket, Dhoni and John took off on a threeday outing. The two did a fun photo-shoot when they came together to launch a salon in Bandra, laughingly styling each other's hair.
