Deepika Padukone to launch 'Deewani Mastani..' song today in Jaipur
The 29-year-old actress who is one of the most popular and highest-paid Indian celebrities, will be at the Historical City Palace in the capital of Rajasthan where she will launch the song this evening.
Earlier, Deepika was in Delhi Yesterday, where she said about the song, "The song is inspired by ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ in a sense. We have tried to recreate the Aina Mahal. But it’s also a Sanjay Leela Bhansali take on a contemporary version of the song where Mastani is completely besotted and madly in love with Bajirao."
She further added that, "The song is almost nasheela. It doesn’t matter to her where she is or who is watching her. She is like a horse with blinkers. She has eyes for no one else but this one man who is sitting in front of her. She is intoxicated by love.”
In the historical romantic movie 'Bajirao Mastani', Deepika will play Bajirao’s second wife Mastani, while Priyanka Chopra will play the role of Bajirao’s first wife Kashi Bai. Ranveer Singh will be seen in the Bajirao's role. The movie is slated to release on 18th December of this year.
