Fire breaks out at ITL Tower in North West Delhi
New Delhi : A fire broke out on the seventh floor of the ITL Towers in North West Delhi's Netaji Subhash Place on Tuesday afternoon. Twelve fire tenders were rushed to the spot immedialtely to douse the fire. No casualty or injury reported so far, official said.
A Fire department official said that, "We had received a call about a fire at the seventh floor of the ITL Towers around 2:15 pm and the fire tenders were rushed to control the fire immediately. the fire was brought under control around at 3.30 pm."
The fire was suspected to be caused by short circuit in air-conditoning unit at an office space on the 7th floor of the commercial building, he said.
"The exact cause of the fire was not known but it was believed to have started from air condition unit. The occupants of the building were evacuated," he added.
