PM Modi pays tributes to PV Narasimha Rao, on his birth anniversary
New Delhi : The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given tributes to former Prime Minister of India, Pamulaparti Venkata Narasimha Rao known as PV Narsimha Rao, on his birth anniversary.
While paid the tributes to PV Narasimha Rao, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on micro-blogging site Twitter, as he wrote in his tweet, "Tributes to Shri PV Narasimha Rao on his birth anniversary. We remember him as a wonderful scholar with very rich political experience".
His ascendancy to the prime ministership was politically significant in that he was the first holder of this office from non-Hindi-speaking south India.

PV Narasimha Rao was born on June 28th of 1921 in Karimnagar in the Hyderabad State and he was served as the tenth Prime Minister of India during June 21, 1991 to May 16, 1996. His ascendancy to the prime ministership was politically significant in that he was the first holder of this office from non-Hindi-speaking south India.
