Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani will begin Sanjay Dutt's biopic next year

Mumbai : There have been many aspects from his life that are in the public eye however there are few out of the way into the bargain. Blockbuster director Rajkumar Hirani, says he will begin the biopic on Sanjay Dutt next year.

Sanjay Dutt is the actor who is serving his sentence in Yerwada Jail, Pune, being accused of association in the 1993 Mumbai Blasts. The actor established himself from starch in Bollywood, after returning back from Texas rehab clinic, US. 

Rajkumar Hirani is amongst some of the most talented directors of the industry, has taken the charge to bring forth the whole story of Sanju Baba’s life, which according to Hirani is his most ambitious project.

Hirani says, “I’m working on the script of Sanju’s biopic. And we’ll be starting the film next year. We are writing the script and only once it finishes, we’ll be able to see how the characters come across and who would be apt to play the characters.”

There were many rumors that Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Sanjay Dutt in the film and another is that the maga-star Amitabh Bachchan will be see as father of Sanjay Dutt playing the role of Sunil Dutt, but Hirani cleared that, "Ranbir is the only one I've spoken to about the film."
