Deepika Padukone made a special request to the Piku team
Mumbai : The 'Piku' actress Deepika Padukone has reportedly made a special request as she was keen to keep the earrings as a memento from the film. In the film she essayed the role of a Bengali girl and her dressing was casual and very real. However for one of the scenes she was seen adorning earrings.
Actually, Deepika really liked those earrings. She also particularly likes the way Shoojit shot the scene and feels it exudes to the narrative of the film. The actress has never done this before even though she has had a slew of hits where audiences loved her characters. However, this character has left an impression on her as a person and taught her so much about human relations.
She wants to keep something from the film with her at all times and so has requested for the earrings. The actress shares, “Piku has been an extremely special film for me so I wanted to keep something that will remind me of the film even years later.”
