After Maggi row, Glukon-D will also check, insects found in packet

Lacknow : After the ongoing Maggi row, another case of the controversial product has been blown in a city of Uttar Pradesh. In Bulandshahr insects were found in Glucon-D energy drink packet.

"Glucon-D sample has been sent to Lacknow for testing and the reports are awaited. Appropriate action will be taken," said Food Safety Officer Shivdas Singh.

Indeed, a family of Bulandshahr's Chauk market bought a packet of 500gm of Glucon-D, on which manufacturing date was printed as March 2015. After drink the energy drink children began to vomiting.

Therefore the family went to the shop and shown the packet, then shopkeeper opened the packet and he found insects in the packet.
