More than 50% students failed in Class 10th of MP Board

Bhopal : The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared the class 10th results on Thursday May 14 afternoon at 2 pm. In which More than 50% of the students who appeared for the examinations have failed. Only 49.79% of the regular students managed to clear their board exams, while in private category only 14.02% students have passed.

The MP High School Certificate (HSC) examination was conducted from March 3 to March 24 this year. Approximately 11.25 lakh students took the state level examination. The candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to access their results at the official site of the board.

Results for about 8.3 lakh regular students were declared out of which 1,80,152 students passed with first division, 1,91,154 with second and 41,970 students passed with third division. 2,32,450 students got supplementary. In private student category, results for 2,83,058 students were declared in which 4,141 students passed with first division while 22,582 got second and 12,988 secured third division.

Sandeep Kumar Shah of Singrauli and Shivam Dubey from Katni have topped the board exams with 586 out of 600 marks each in Madhya Pradesh. Ayush Shrivastava from Bhander in Datia scored 584 and stood second in the state merit list while Shivam Sharma stood third with 583 marks.
