Modi wraps up his three-nation visit, flies to the home

Seoul : The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi wrapped up his three-nation visit on Tuesday and flew back the home from this Korean city. Modi began his six-day sojourn from China on May 14.

Modi on Tuesday left for home after wrapping up his six-day tour that took him to China, Mongolia and South Korea where he held bilateral talks and signed several pacts to bolster India's relations with the three countries.

He then travelled to Mongolia, from where he flew to South Korea. He addressed the India-Korea CEOs forum in Seoul, and said “Your ship-building capacity and our agenda of port led development can become driver of our growth.”

"My visit to the Republic of Korea has been very satisfying. I thank the Korean people & Government for their warm hospitality," Modi tweeted before he emplaned for Delhi from here after meeting Busan mayor Suh Byung-soo.

"Meetings with President Park Geun-hye and business leaders were fruitful. Many aspects of strengthening India-Korea cooperation were discussed. I leave with the confidence that our ties will get even better and our relationship will benefit people of our nations," he said.
