Gurjar Agitation : Nizamuddin Mewar Exp. train cancelled

Jaipur : Due to the Gurjar agitation at Dumariya station of KOTA division in West Central Railway, trains running are effected. Many trains are affected as hundreds of protesters sat overnight on rail tracks in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district to demand reservation in the state for Gurjars.

According the CPRO of NWR Tarun Jain, the train No. 12964, Nizamuddin Mewar Exp. Departured from Udaipur on May 23 has been cancelled due to Gurjar Agitation.

Notable, the train services remained disrupted and diversions were carried out in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district as the agitation by the members of Gujjar community, demanding five per cent reservation in government jobs. Hundreds of agitators sat on the Delhi-Mumbai railway tracks severely hitting the road and rail traffic.
