Jaipur : Almonds are a healthy and versatile ingredient to cook with during thesesummer months. This was demonstrated in an interactive and fun afternoon celebrating health andgood taste in Jaipur on Tuesday.
As eminent Nutritionist Ritika Samaddar came together with Sudarshan Mazumdar who is the regional director of India for Almond Board of California and renowned Chef Alok Kumar, to talk about the multiple health benefits of almonds and versatility of the nut.
The eminent dietician bust myths regarding the consumption of almonds during hot summermonths, and shed light on their anti-oxidant content, their role in appetite and satiety and overallwellbeing as demonstrated by various international studies.
Nutritionist Ritika Samaddar said, “I encourage regular consumption of almonds, throughout theyear to my clients. To snack on them when they feel hungry between meals, or start their morningswith almonds.
