Vasundhara Raje will visit to Japan for economic partnership
New Delhi : Rajasthan's Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will be travelling to Japan from 6-10 April 2015 to interact with senior business and political leaders and invite them to invest further in Rajasthan. She will address business leaders in Tokyo and Kyoto as part of this tour.
Key areas of focus would include the Automotive, Ceramics, and Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sectors. Raje was addressing Japanese Media representatives at Jodhpur House in New Delhi.
Raje is to encourage Japanese investment in Bhiwadi, Neemrana and Giloth by highlighting their location near the National Capital Region, proximity to proposed Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor and offering uninterrupted power supply and concession in central excise.
Raje expects the Japanese to take interest in setting up ceramic, glass, electronics and auto industries as Neemrana-Bhiwadi region already have few of these.
The state is holding the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit in Jaipur in November 2015 in order to attract investment in the state from all over the world.
Japan is one of the largest foreign investors in Rajasthan and the Summit aims at deepening this relationship. Resurgent Rajasthan is part of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s vision to transform the state through inclusive and comprehensive development.
