Sunny Leone : Porn star to Bollywood actress and now to play a mentor
Sunny Leone, who impressed her fans with her last film, ‘Ragini MMS 2’, topped the list of most searched Indian celebrities of 2014. According to reports Sunny Leone will play a mentor to contestants of an online talent based reality show. Considering Sunny’s hit stint in the cyber space we aren’t surprised.
Sunny in an interview to a daily spoke of her latest role, “When the makers of the show came to me, I was sold on the idea. I will be telling the participants how and what to shoot. The Internet is a huge platform; I believe even Justin Bieber was discovered after posting his videos on YouTube."
"That could be an inspiration, since it proves the power of the web, and of social media. You don’t always need a music company to launch you. Things are a bit different these days. Much of my popularity comes from social media marketing and from being active on such platforms. The Internet makes entertainment available to everyone around the world,” she added.
The show requires the contestants to make videos showcasing their talent, after which they will upload these videos on the net and be judged on the popularity that their videos generate.
