A Minor fire on the 4th floor of the AIIMS Delhi

New Delhi : A minor fire broke out on the 4th floor of the All India Institute of medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Sunday morning. Officials said that the fire was caused out a short circuit in an electrical unit on located at the floor.

The incident was reported around 10:05 AM when technicians noticed smoke from one of the windows on the fourth floor and alerted the security guards who informed the fire officials. 

Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames within 15 minutes. It was controlled by 10:20 AM. No one was injured in the blaze

Fire officials said that no one was injured in the incident but a few important files might have been damaged in the fire. A police team also reached the spot to find out the exact cause of the blaze.
