India got a big target of 329 Runs from Australia
Sydney : The cricket team of India 'Men in Blue' has got a target of 329 Runs from the Australia in ICC World Cup semi-final match playing today at Sydney Crickrt Ground in Sydney, Australia. The Target is seem as a big challenge for India by the team of Australia.
India are undefeated so far in this tournament and four of those wins have come batting second, although they have yet to be set a target in excess of 300, which could be feasible on such a good batting pitch. The match was due to begin in good conditions, with no chance of rain.
The mighty Aussies have finished strongly here. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, they lost Warner early in the innings. Finch was strangled at one end but Smith eased the pressure by playing freely. Both put in the hard work and stitched a 182-run stand to get their team to a commanding position. Smith went onto score his 4th ODI ton and fell soon after. Finch too scored his half century and departed after a while.
India will have to play out of their skins to win at the SCG. A target of 329 is never easy and the Indians will look for a positive start. Join us back in a while to find out what is in store.
