Sanjay Dutt to play as villian opposite Salman Khan in Shuddhi

Mumbai : Director Karan Malhotra who has made his debut with film 'Agneepath', that was a hit number and Sanjay Dutt played the role of villian opposite of Hrithik Roshan.

Karan is making an another film, which name is 'Shuddhi' satrring Salman Khan in main lead and according to rumors Sunjay Dutt will play the role of villian again in this film.

Sanjay Dutt also featured as the main baddie in Karan Malhotra’s hit debut Agneepath and he was seen making Hrithik Roshan’s character Vijay’s life hell in that film! Sanjay garnered a lot of critical acclaim for his believably venomous performance as the brutal Kancha Cheena in Agneepath.

While the lead actor and the main villain of the film have been finalised, Shuddhhi is yet to get its leading lady.

Rumors says that, The film produced by Karan Johar, under his banner Dharma Productions and being directed by Karan Malhotra. At first the film is set to feature actor Salman Khan in the main lead role. Karan Johar has confirmed that Salman Khan will be the main lead for the ambitious project. Now Deepika will be pairing with Salman Khan.

Several names have been tossed around the table. Recently rumours were rife that Deepika Padukone might be signing the film but nothing has been confirmed yet.

This will be the first film that Sanjay will start shooting for after coming out of jail. Sanju is expected to come out of jail around August this year and Karan Malhotra has taken Salman's dates for Shuddhi already. The filmmaker has planned to start shooting for the film in July-August.
