Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly becomes just 'Friends' after officially divorce

Mumbai : The son of former union cabinet minister Pramod Mahajan who is a Politician, reality show entertainer and a former pilot, took to Twitter to announce their divorce and clarify that from now onwards he and Dimpy are just 'friends'.
Rahul Mahajan talked about it on micro-blogging site Twitter and he wrote in a twitt, " From today onwards we are "just" friends @dimpy_mahajan http://t.co/EXc9UeZ1tm".

Rahul and Dimpy, who got married on a reality show "Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega", had filed for a divorce on mutual grounds last May. Dimpy, soon after the marriage in 2010, had accused Rahul of domestic violence, but later reconciled when he apologised.

But last year, Dimpy filed for divorce and requested for immediate legal separation as she wanted to move abroad. But their request got dismissed and the duo had to follow the legal procedure of six months counselling period.

In the last session of tv reality show Bigg Boss, it was finally revealed that Rahul and Dimpy have finally moved on and there’s nothing between them apart from simple friendship.

Audiences desired to view some romantic and awww moments between Rahul and Dimpy, but Rahul was seen flirting with Karishma Tanna instead in the Bigg Boss 8 house.
