Aamir Khan to play as Villain in Rajniknath's 'Robot-2'

New Delhi : This is great news for South Indian movie lovers if the attempts of top director Shankar to rope in Aamir Khan for Rajinikanth ‘Robot 2’ really turns true. According to several reports, Aamir has given a nod to feature in the sequel to his superhit film 'Robot'. The film will go on floors early next year.

Yes, there has been a big buzz in Bollywood and Kollywood circles about Shankar having approached Aamir Khan with the script of ‘Robot 2’ where in the role of antagonist is offered. Definitely, there is no one in Indian cinema who can become a ‘Robot’ other than Rajinikanth and the superb success of first part said it all.

While Rajinikanth will be playing the leading role, Aamir will be playing the negative role. The actor will don a totally new look for the film, something never seen in Indian film history.

To fight with a powerful Rajinikanth, there is a necessity for Shankar to pick up a competitive actor and Aamir Khan has been the best choice from many whom the ace director has consulted. Accordingly, ‘Robot 2’ might have this combination of Rajini and Aamir fighting on screen.

'Robot' starring Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had managed to garner a strong foothold at the box office. Now, with Aamir roped in for the film, one can only expect it to become bigger and better.
