New twist in Salman Khan's hit & run case with the evidence of RTO officer

Mumbai : The Dabang khan of Bollywood Salman Khan's 2002 alleged Hit and Run case, which is now in its final stages has got a new evidence by a RTO officer, which is says that Salman Khan had no driving license in his name when the incident of hit and run occurred.

The Mumbai Police on Tuesday produced the statement of the RTO officer before the special CBI court. After checking all the records, RTO officer found that Salman Khan had no driving license in his name when the incident of hit and run occurred in 2002.

"We recorded the RTO officer's statement, but we don't want to discuss the details at this stage," said inspector Rajendra Kane of Bandra police station, who is currently handling the case.

During the last week hearing, the court had asked the prosecution to record the statements of the additional witnesses before submitting their application to the court.

Also, according to the prosecution, other than the previous allegations that Salman Khan was driving under the influence of alcohol, it was said that Mr. Khan was driving without a valid license. To prove the same, the RTO officer has been questioned and examined.
