Shah Rukh Khan to comeback on small screen with host a quiz show
Mumbai : The King khan of bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is all set to comeback on small screen with host a tv show for Zee network's new channel, &TV. The quiz show called ‘India Poochega: Sabse Shaana Kaun?’ is based on an Iranian TV show.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “It is a unique show that gives merit to the street smart ones. You might not be a scholar or a master in any field but if you are smart then this game show is for you.”
Punit Goenka, Zeel MD and CEO said, “&TV will offer a more substantial viewing experience to an audience that is always seeking fresh and relevant content. The channel extend our Hindi entertainment portfolio under the “&” bouquet and will add to the consolidation of our leading position in the entertainment industry.”
The new entertainment channel will compete other Hindi GECs with a mixture of fiction and reality based shows. Reports indicate that the Indian version of ‘The Voice’, ‘Razia Sultan’ produced by Swastik Production and ‘Begusarai’ produced by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Productions and Jaaswand Entertainment, will launch on the channel.
&TV will join sibling, &Pictures, which has been broadcasting for over a year. &TV is being geared up to launch in March in India.
