Priyanka Chopra will play the lead role in 'Gangaajal 2' ?

Mumbai : Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra’s career is going places, with two highly anticipated film- 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Dil Dhadakne Do' already in her kitty she also has a talent development deal with the ABC television studio which is one of the biggest studios in Hollywood. 

She is also venturing into production with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Madamji. Now there are reports suggesting that the Mary Kom actress is being considered to play the lead role in Prakash Jha’s Gangaajal 2. The original starred Ajay Devgn and Gracy Singh as protagonists.Though it isn’t official yet but we hear that the Bajirao Mastani actress will be seen playing the lead in Prakash Jha’s sequel

Prakash Jha had announced it in 2014 that his next film Gangaajal 2, will feature a female protaganist, who will be playing an honest police officer like Ajay Devgn, And rumours are rife that Priyanka Chopra will be playing the lead. Since the role required an actress with a dynamic personality, Prakash Jha decided to approach the former Miss World. He was extremely impressed with her role in Mary Kom and he decided to finalize her.

Even though Priyanka has three big releases in 2015, she is impressed with Jha's work and is planning to sign on the dotted line. Priyanka has stellar line up of movies in 2015 with the likes of Madamji, Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani.
