Mumbai : Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has come a long way, ever since the release of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, and he might soon get a chance to create waves internationally too. Apparently, the actor is set to share screen space with Hollywood star Nicole Kidman.

This film will be directed by Garth Davis, who has co-directed the Golden Globe-winning mini-series Top Of the Lake with film-maker Jane Campion. Luke Davies, the screenwriter of Anton Corbijn’s upcoming film, Life, has adapted the book for the big screen. The film will be shot extensively in India and Australia.

According to reports, it also stars Dev Patel, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Deepti Naval. "Currently, Nawaz is in Rajasthan shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Salman Khan. Once he returns from the shoot next month, he will take a final call on this international project. But in all likelihood, he will take it up," says an insider.

The source adds that the Gangs Of Wasseypur (2012) actor is also looking forward to working with such a stellar cast. "Even if he has signed the film, it is unlikely that Nawaz will talk about it before the makers make an official announcement," adds the source. Nawazuddin will star in an international project with Australian actress Nicole Kidman.

The film is reportedly an adaptation of Saroo Brierley’s book ‘A Long Way Home’, and will also feature ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ actor Dev Patel, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Deepti Naval. A source close to the actor was quoted as saying, “Currently Nawaz is in Rajasthan shooting for 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' with Salman Khan. Once he returns from the shoot next month, he will take a final call on this international project.”
