Happy B.day Vidhya Balan who turned 37 today

Mumbai (RNN) : Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is celebrating her birthday today and she turned 37 years on Thursday. Vidya Balan, who often enjoys the status of being the 'hero' of her films, She was spotted enjoying a night out with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur on Tuesday at a high-end suburban restaurant in the city ahead of his birthday, said reports.

Vidya Balan was born on January 1st 1978, Vidya is known for her strong female protagonists. She has won several awards including a National Film Award, five film fare awards and five Screen Awards.

Her films include Guru, Parineeta, Kahaani, Urumi, Thank You, Paa, Halla Bol, Hey Babyy, Eklavya: The Royal Guard etc.

Vidya  is also a social activist and supports the cause of empowerment of women that eventually gets portrayed on-screen, where she has managed to carve a niche in a territory dominated by male actors. 

The actress was last see in  'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' and 'Bobby Jasoos'. She will be next seen in 'Dhamaal 2'.
