Film Studios Setting & Allied Mazdoor Union to get more facilities

Mumbai : 20,000 members attend Film Studios Setting & Allied Mazdoor Union's annual function at Andheri Sports Complex. On this occasion, the union's secretary Gangeshwarlal Shrivastav said, "We're soon going to make medical vans available exclusively for all the union members, if God forbid there ever crops up an emergency. 

All the union members will also be provided with insurance, the premium of which will be paid by the union."

Union's newly appointed chairman Ram Kadam, who is also an MLA from Ghatkopar as a party member of BJP, was also present at the occasion. 

He said, "We want everyone to come together. We don't want to divide, but unite." He informed, "There is a lot of vacant land in and around Film City, which can be used to build apartments for the film workers. I request our esteemed Chief Minister to consider this." 

"The workers should consult with the producers and ensure themselves higher wages and more facilities." he added.
