Mamta Banerjee demands the 'Bharat Ratna' for Amitabh Bachchan
Mamta Banerjee said on Monday that, Amitabh Bachchan who was been conferred the Padma Vibhushan was a legend and he deserved for Bharat Ratna award.
"The Padma Vibhushan to Amitabh Bachchan is not enough. He is a legend in his lifetime. He deserves a Bharat Ratna," Banerjee said on her official Facebook and Twitter handle.
Amitabh Bachchan, along with legendary actor Dilip Kumar, was Sunday named for the Padma Vibhushan honour on the eve of India's 66th Republic Day.
