Details of hospitals nad blood donors can get from app now
Thiruvananthapuram : A mobile application that provides a detailed data on the location of hospitals, ambulance services, blood banks and blood donors in south Indian state Kerala has been developed. Two young IT professionals have come out with the free mobile app, named Mplus, to help people during the time of medical emergencies.
They said it can provide district-wise location maps of hospitals and its contact number at the finger tip of users. Kannur-based V K Nadeer and Vivek T V said the app also has the facility to track panchyat-wise data of blood donors in the state.
If anyone wants blood during the time of surgery or other such emergencies, he could send free messages to hundreds of blood donors listed in the application, they said.
The applications could also track the contact number of registered blood banks and ambulance services across the state, they said. 'Mplus' can be downloaded free of cost from Google Play Store, the developers added.
