Politicians who got married in old age
Congress leader Digvijay Singh, whose wife passed away last year, acknowledgement came a few days after his pictures with Amrita Rai were leaked on the Internet. On microblogging website Twitter, Digvijay Singh tweeted :
I have no hesitation in accepting my relationship with Amrita Rai. She and her husband have already filed a mutual consent divorce case.

There are few more politicians who have married at old age. :-
NTR Laxmi parvathi, in 1993 at age of 70 NTR married telugu writter Laxmi Parvthi. It is said that the move has shocked friends, family and fans of NTR.ND tiwari and Ujjawala sharma though both have not married to each other but had a son from dou. Recently the court has pronounced its judgement to accept Rohit Shekhar as his boilogical son.
Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar : Shashi Tharoor had a tumultuous love affair with Business woman Sunanda Pushkar which cost him his ministrerial berth. They were married in 2010 but the marriage was short lived as pushkar was found dead in a delhi's hotel.
Chand and Fiza : Chandra Mohan married to assistant advocate Anuradha Balli in 2008. Mohan was already married and had to convert his religion to islam. However his marriage was also short lived.
